Highlights of Louisville Tour
We will visit the world famous KENTUCKY DERBY MUSEUM, featuring exciting exhibits dedicated to the one hundred and twenty-six year history of the "Greatest two minutes in sports". Two floors of hands-on displays, artifacts, memorabilia and fine art, highlighted by an award-winning multi-media audio-visual presentation of "The Greatest Race" take viewers through the excitement of the first Saturday in May. A walking tour of CHURCHILL DOWNS includes the historic Grandstand and Paddock area.

Docked at the Louisville Wharf, the STAR OF LOUISVILLE waits to cast off for a relaxing 2-hour lunch cruise (12 noon to 2 PM). The Star of Louisville is 130 feet of nautical elegance, graciously crafted to provide fine dining and entertainment in a festive cruise ship atmosphere, with an open air promenade, three observation decks and two elegant, enclosed dining decks. An extensive buffet featuring a variety of meat, seafood and poultry entrees plus delicious salads and vegetables will satisfy the heartiest appetite. Save room for your choice of one of the Chef's special Star desserts.

Bardstown
Saturday, October 11
8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
Cost: $48.00 Per Person
Bardstown Tour
A Motorcoach excursion to Historic Bardstown will take us over the rolling hills of the Bluegrass into the heart of Kentucky's early settlements. Upon arrival in Bardstown, we will visit ST. JOSEPH'S CATHEDRAL, built in 1819, the oldest cathedral west of the Allegheny Mountains. It contains a collection of paintings said to be gifts from Louis Phillippe, exiled King of France.

Next we will enjoy a fantastic, FUN buffet lunch at the OLD STABLE; one of Bardstown's most unique experiences, known for their hospitality and good southern recipes. You're in bourbon country now, and this area serves as the heart of Kentucky's distilling industry. You'll tour JIM BEAM'S AMERICAN OUTPOST, which offers visitors a unique opportunity to get to know the colorful heritage of Kentucky Bourbon. The site includes an authentic 1800's Cooper Shop, and the oldest known moonshine still. Complimentary bourbon tasting included. Yes, here they do give samples!
